Barb is one of my BFF! She has an adorable son, Benjamin. 
See I told you he was cute! Anyway, I knit these shorties for him! they are delicious. Seriously.
These shorts are on the way to their new owner, and I can hardly wait for action shots!

Well I've not posted, but I have been knitting! I actually have been knitting a ridiculous amount!
Let's see.
I knit, a Hudson hat for a benefit. A super sad story, so if you're in the market for some small/medium longies and a matching Hudson, this is a great opportunity to do something good! 
I finished Stacy's longies for the photography studio...but forgot to take a finished picture! Pity! They're SUPER cute! But I'm sure Stace will send some to me once she uses them!

I finished a birthday hat for one of my BEST FRIENDS, Stacy. It was the first I'd made from this pattern, so I had to try it on to make sure it fit! I apologize in advance for the way I look! Myspace-esque photos aren't my best!
And this last hat I finished for a really good and sweet person. It's a surprise.

Anna's Hudson Hat! I'm pretty sure that this is my favorite Hudson Hat I've ever made. I LOVE the that this hat is SO girlie without being ALL pink! 
I sold a custom Hudson Hat slot on my Cong-Fu store. Here are the finished pictures! SO cute!

I just finished some shorties for Gabe. I bought the yarn up in Washington, and finalllllllllllly finished them today! I'm still working on the icord for the tie, but you get the picture!
So they're far from perfect, but they're a vast improvement over the first longies I made for G! These are going to fit him this summer, unless a massive growth spurt happens!
I'm going to make my friend Heather some pants for her little man! They're called "Lucky Star" (Thanks Barb for the name!) They will be awesome! I ordered the yarn yesterday, so hopefully soon, like maybe tomorrow?, the yarn will be here and I can start!
I'm working on a GORGEOUS scrappy Hudson! It's toddler sized....anyone need a toddler sized Hudson? It will appear in my Etsy shortly!
So I finished Julian's Hudson Hat...but he won't wear it. It's too 'scary' for him! What the heck? So now I'm trying to convince him it's a "Candy Cane" hat, since his Candy Corn Cap is such a popular one with him!
This is the one I knit yesterday, for me!!! I love knitting things for me, because they are perfect! Like I pick the exact colors I want, and it's just great!

Well it's off the needles now! So that's fabulous. Now I just have finishing to do. I have to weave the ends in, and make tassels! CUTE! 
So generally speaking, I'm not stupid. Granted, I'm no genius either. But this Hudson hat continues to elude me! I have started it twice, and the ear flaps are backwards on it, BOTH TIMES! Though, through trial and error, I'm able to figure out what the hizeck I did wrong! The solution?! Knitting the last row on the ear flap, should have purled it!
I've made 4 candy corn caps, and think I've pretty much perfected the pattern. I gave one to my neighbor's daughter, so if she posts pics, I'll see if I can put them on here. Anyway, I'm going to work on something called a 'hudson hat'. I bought the pattern yesterday and so far have finished an ear flap and I-cord. Yay!
Here is what a hudson hat looks like:
I'm going to work on the other ear flap, and I-cord, and then comes the brim. The only problem I forsee, the pattern calls for 16" size 7 circular needles, and I have only got size 7 Double Pointed Needles, so hopefully I'll be able to work it out with just the DPN. We'll see. Perhaps a trip to Michael's is in order. I looked at Joann's yesterday and they didn't have circulars in anything smaller than a size 8. Plus, I have a coupon for Michael's for 40% off any regular priced item. For yarn selection, I much prefer Michael's over Joanns.
So it might seem like I only knit. I have recently started knitting, in July. So right now it's my obsession. I am also going to make some organization boxes, and want to paint my living room. I have endless amounts of projects to complete! This blog should get crazy!
