Tiny tiny newborn shorties

My friend Sarah is having baby boy #4 in a few months. I wanted to make her something to celebrate her new little prince!

The yarn was dyed by an amazing artist, TJ. (Here's her Etsy)

I think it's obvious...

...I am the World's Worst Blogger. I think I should get a big shiny button or something that says that.

I have been busy knitting though.

First up
Heather's WSK skirty. The colorway is Monica and I am in love. (I was totally going to put some Friends reference, but thought better of it.)

Next, some shorties for MY son. I know, right? Knitters never have time to knit for their own children. I'm sure the same is true for sewers, crochet, etc.

This is Mosaic Moon's Copper Patina colorway. It's on this fabulously spongy yarn called Marr Haven Rambouilet.

These are for a mama on tgm.com (goodmama forum) Also pay no mind to the strings, they will be cut off before mailing ;)

They are Alligator Knits Woof colorway, but this yarn was handpainted vs. kettle dyed.

And finally. My first blanket!

Julian, my 3 year old, is in preschool. He goes two days a week, for 2 hours. He adores his teacher, Miss Sarah. Miss Sarah is having a baby girl a few days after they get out of school, and I decided I would knit her a blanket. I've had this pattern for a while now, and what a better reason to try it out, than with a deadline and for a wonderful lady!

Julian picked out the purple yarn out of 3 possible colors, pink (of course!), sage green, and purple.

The pattern for the blanket can be found here

I also finished some Cheese Toast shorties for my BFFF's little guy, Benjamin, but forgot to take photos! Sorry Barb!

Some finished projects

I've been pretty busy this week, knitting, and breaking in my new sewing machine.

I'm a huge fan of the appliqued shirts. I am learning how to do them myself, to save some extra $$ :)

A set for my best friend's little girl, GiGi!

The clips were made by by good friend Jen {Sugar and Spice}

And then these shorties are for a customer, she's testing for me. I'm excited to knit up the rest of the goodies she sent! These are Selah's First Love. I'm in love.

London Stripes = delicious

You may remember my friend Erica's Mad Skilz Shorties. These are also going to her. They match the London diaper. Gorgeous diaper, gorgeous colors, fabulous shorties.

Next, some more shorties for my BFF's little boy, Benjamin! These are, I think, my favorite thing I've knit! I love the waistband and the cuff! The colors are *so* Ben! The yarn is Selah's Maui Wowie.

Cong-Fu Rocks my Socks!

So I ended up selling 3 hats that day! YES! It was amazing to be invited to join such an awesome and talented group of ladies!! Seriously thank you so much!

I'm working on a boy's Hudson hat for the next stocking, so keep posted!

I just finished some shorties for Gabe. I bought the yarn up in Washington, and finalllllllllllly finished them today! I'm still working on the icord for the tie, but you get the picture!

So they're far from perfect, but they're a vast improvement over the first longies I made for G! These are going to fit him this summer, unless a massive growth spurt happens!

I'm going to make my friend Heather some pants for her little man! They're called "Lucky Star" (Thanks Barb for the name!) They will be awesome! I ordered the yarn yesterday, so hopefully soon, like maybe tomorrow?, the yarn will be here and I can start!
