No project pictures yet. I need to get cracking on this scarf for my friend Alisha! Her birthday is tomorrow! I hope I get it finished!
But I did want to share something completely amazing with you.
Behold. The beauty of this yarn is absolutely insane. I know. It's yarn, but seriously, look at it. That's some purdy yarn :)

Elizabeth's Birthday Scarf
This year, I am going to try to knit/make everyone's birthday presents. Obviously for my kids, they won't be so excited. But for other people?! Heck yes. My dear friend Elizabeth's birthday is coming up. I knit her this scarf!
January is a busy month for birthdays!
Elizabeth is the 18th, she lives in WA though, so I will have to ship it.

Baby Owen's Blessing Outfit &hearts
So I've always wanted a handmade blessing outfit. ALWAYS. However, not knowing who to ask to make one, or how to go about doing it, I just went to Babies R Us and bought one. This time? I can knit! Hallelujah! So I decided to knit Owen's little blessing outfit.
I'd been lusting over a certain pattern by SMSS. I decided it would be perfect for a blessing outfit, and went for it! I splurged on the yarn, and ordered much raved MadelineTosh Vintage.
I was really nervous to cast on, for some reason. Well, a new cast on technique was one of the hindrances, which actually turned out to be pretty fabulous. (Provincial cast on for those wondering)
It knit up perfectly, easily, the pattern was incredibly clearly written, and easy to follow. I couldn't be happier with the finished product!
The darling little hat!
Button Detail
Definitely a win! Owen's being blessed today, so I will take some pictures of my adorable baby boy in his sweet outfit later today!

Christmas Gifts Galore!
Every year. Every year I knit tons of gifts! And every year I do a dump post. Here's this year's post. Minus a bunch of gifts I forgot to take pictures of! DOH!
Little Mice for my nephews, Brandon and Carter!
My mother-in-law swears that Brandon will just adore it! I hope so!
A pinafore for my only niece Ashley! I love the bright colors and the sparkly yarn. I'm not such a fan of the splotch of black on the front, but alas. Such is life.
Super cute hat, also for Ashley.
This all started out as a library bag for my oldest nephew, Bryant. Then turned into gift bags for the whole sibling set.
Not pictured.
Mobeius for my mom
Fingerless mittens for my mom
Mistaken Rib scarf for my sister, Ang.
Fingerless mittens for Ang.
Slouchy hat for my sister, Jess.
Mistkaen Rib scarf for Jess.
All presents have been mailed out to their recipients, and with only one week until Christmas, I really hope that they like them!

My Baby Owen's Stash
I've been a busy, busy knitter the past few months. I have a baby due in about 6 weeks, but I'm really hoping he decides to come a little bit early. Not a TON early, just a little.
Anyway, I have had some time to knit. I have kind of closed down knitting for other people, for a while, at least. And focusing on knitting for my baby, and my family, hey Iowa winter is COMING! And Christmas!
Here are some of the things I've knit up for my baby, Owen!
This yarn was knit by my super talented friend, Jennifer of Debutante Yarns
Yummy Dashing Dach's Caribbean Goldfish! One of my favorite colorways
Unblocked Sheepy Longies...I think I'm going to add a sun to the bum.
They also need a drawstring...but details.
I knit this pumpkin hat on the way to Mall of America over Labor Day weekend. It's Dashing Dach's pumpkin.
And those are all that I have a picture of! I have some hats I've knit, and I need to knit a matching sheepy hat. Thinking about a Hudson. I am test knitting a realllllly cute thing! And I have some gorgeous caribbean seas by Debutante Yarns to do also...sooo I still have a lot to do.
Here is another crafty endeavor I've taken. I went to Joanns to get a wreath for our door. But all of them were way too decorated. So this is what I got instead. A grapewood (I think) wreath for $3. And then 4 $1 picks. I like it SO much more than the wreaths that Joanns had, and it was less than 1/2 the price!
